Sharapova’s Olympic Gold Dream | Recurring Chronic Shoulder Injury Report
Shamil Tarpischev, head of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) remarked on Maria Sharapova’s fitness condition. In a conversation to Championat, Tarpischev explained that Sharapova’s shoulder injury is old, it is prolonged, so the thing is erratic and recurring.
Tarpischev advices that she needs to be selective and choose to play competitions that have most points at stake in order to have a greater ranking. However, with that injury, she will have to be careful for the prime reason that the serve is one of the basics of her game.
Tarpischev recommends that Maria should focus on the Grand Slam tournaments and rest her shoulder as much as possible in the interim.
Sharapova’s Olympic Gold Dream
Maria also has a big ambition of winning the Olympic gold, so her focus should be to remain fit and injury free right upto the Olympics. She has to pick and choose the WTA tournaments to participate in.
